Wealth and Freedom are two of the most popular dreams humans strive for. For me, they are the rewards at the end of life’s most difficult Quest.

My name is Manidoo(Man-eh-due) but you can call me Mani for short. Since graduating from college I was successful in getting that white collar dream job that I’ve been working towards since high-school.

Then of course, I found I didn’t like doing it. Despite how much I love my job and the field I’m in, I cannot imagine doing it 40 hours a week for the rest of my life. I have big goals in life, and the more time spent sitting in an office all day is less time spent fulfilling these goals.

This is why I set out to join the FIRE(Financial Independence Retire Early) movement and become free. Doing so will no doubt be a challenge, but will all be worth it once I get there. So I opted to create this blog and share what I learn on my journey towards FIRE, my Prometheus’ Quest.
